“This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
We need to look at the bright side of each day, giving thanks to the Lord continually, counting the many blessings He has given us for the day. We live in a broken world where the evil one wants us to focus on the adversity and sorrow he throws into our path to distract us from the Light of the Lord’s Love. We can defeat him by giving continual thanks to the Lord for the blessings He gives us each and every day.
The Lord has made this day of life specially for us. It is full of His blessings. So let us give thanks to Him as we walk hand in hand with Him through this day, with our hearts full of His Joy and Peace.
“I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.” Psalm 116:17
My Prayer for this day:
Dear Lord, thank you for teaching me to see your blessings every day, and to know that adversity fades when I focus on the wonders of your creation; and the Love, Power, and Glory it represents.
