Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

And on this day of Thanksgiving, let us ponder on the things that we really should be thankful for:

“And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20

MY THOUGHTS OF THANKS FOR THIS THANKSGIVING DAY, (ACTUALLY FOR EVERY DAY):                                                                     “Lord, I THANK YOU and I praise you for all your blessings, and for being with me, in spite of my weak human sinful failings and frailties.

Lord, I THANK YOU for that ultimate sacrifice you made on the cross for my salvation, peace of mind and spirit.

Lord, I THANK YOU for your understanding, your forgiveness and grace for my many, many sins, and your unfailing, unconditional Love from which nothing can separate me.”

For many, the end of the year holidays can be times of stress, regret, and depression… And you may find it difficult to give thanks… Take heart, in all things God works for our good if we love Him and are called by Him. (Romans 8:28) Thank God, not for your problems , but for the strength He is building in you through the difficult experiences in your life.

Give Him THANKS regardless of your feelings, and He will give you His Joy regardless of your circumstances. It is the Light of His Joy and Love that removes the sting of adversity and depression.

My Prayer for this Day of Thanksgiving:

Lord, THANK YOU for being with me in times of adversity. The Love, Joy, and Strength you pour into my heart gives me a new perspective on my troubles, and enables me to move forward through my Faith in you. Without you, in the past I was immobilized…Today, I boldly take the path you have chosen for me, with you by my side, walking  together through this broken, fallen world we live in.

Lord,THANK YOU!
