The Lord Is With You Always…Ready To Accept you Into The Refuge Of His Arms…

The Lord Is With You Always…Ready To Accept you Into The Refuge Of His Arms…To give you the rest from your tendency to plan and worry excessively;  and then rehearse, in your mind, outcomes to situations that never occur the way you imagine they will.

Instead of relying on you prideful, self-sufficiency; pray continually to the Lord, asking Him to help you shape the details of the day ahead…and continue to thank Him for the events of the day as they unfold.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18–Paul wrote: “Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

Rely on Him as your partner, walking on the path of life with Him through-out the day; handling the problems together; as they spring up in front of you.

When you ignore His Presence, and try to go it alone (planning and anticipating with your weak, worldly, prideful mind) you forget that He is there; ready to  hold you up by His strong right hand; and give you His strength and wisdom to be victorious over your circumstances.
Psalm 62:5-7–Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.  My victory and honor come from God alone.  He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.

Strive to be in the Lord’s Presence every moment of every day; remembering that He is already with you, because of His love for you.  Discipline yourself to keep Him front and center during your day…leaning on Him in all you do.

Depending on Him throughout the day gives you rest, peace, and strength for all circumstances that occur during you journey through the day.
Matthew 11:28-30–Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your soul.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

The Verse of the Day:  John 16:33– Jesus told His disciples: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

My Prayer For This Day:

Lord, thank you for leading me on the journey ahead that is this day. Lord, for so many years I was lost in the mire of worry about the future. My worries were driving me to look so far ahead that I ignored the wonders of the present day that you had so thoughtfully prepared for me. Lord, I pray for the Holy Spirit to help me control my mind today; and to remind me that you are with me this moment, and every moment; and are available to lead me through this day…to help me see and enjoy the events of the day, as they unfold moment by moment, step by step… living in the present not in the precarious future.
